Petrol (from Bruno)
Crystal Moon Day 2 - Yellow Cosmic Seed Year - 31 May, 2006

I was talking to someone about autosufficience in the production of petrol (read: about countries that produce all the petrol they consume so they don't have to buy from otehr countries). The person told me to picture a situation, and I instantly got disembodied.

What I saw was a row of men on a beach, all with their feet in the water, facing the sea. Each different in apparence, different in clothing. Different nationalities. All of them facing the ocean with the looks of someone at war: someone who wants to look heroic but knows the danger they're into.

'Right now the petrol situation is stable, and all countries are finding their ways to get what they need of it. It might however not last like that forever.'

A giant wave started approaching the men. It was over five metres high, gigantic.

'A crisis however might come, and the price of petrol will go up again. In that case, a lot of countries will no longer be able to stand the prices.'

The wave got them. I could instantly see some of the people being thrown away by the power of the wave. They were thrown away with such strenght they probably died or drowned.

'Some countries, will try and survive the crisis. Of course, it won't be a comfortable situation to them.'

Indeed, as I zoomed around the mess, I could see some men bravely surviving the power of the wave, facing it with their mands held close, giving their chests to the wave as if they were inviting it to battle. Resisting. I could easily identify the French, the German and the Brittish in that situation, and some others.

However, what surprised me was yet a third set of people to whom the wave didn't seem to show any effect. It was as if it was going through them without actually pushing them away. They were showing no signs of fatigue or intense use of strenght.

It was as if, to them, there was no such a thing as the wave.

'And that's,' the voice finished, 'why autosufficience in petrolific production so important.'

I woke up and ran to a notebook to write the scene down. I forgot to write what happened before it, so strong was the imact of that scene.

Notes: I didn't know my SubConscious was so political! This was a in increadible experience, I could feel the horror in the men who were devastated by the wave, and I could feel the tough resistance the other people had to show, and I could feel the indifference to the wave.

My country has reached autosufficiency this year. We now extract all the petrol we need. Maybe the ongoing discussions about petrol everywhere made me have this dream.

Also, do notice how it, theme set apart, seems to be like a metaphor to life itself, and to the Capitalist society, the society ruled no longer by goverments, but by the market.

That was intense.

Following the terrorist attacks of 9/11 in the United States, a group of international dreamers gathered around the idea of dreaming the world toward peace.

Everyone dreams. In many cultures it is believed that the world is a creation of our dreams. These dreams are a bridge across which we can reach toward one another.
